EcoBaker stocks a professional range of bannetons — also known as proofing baskets or brotform — made from compressed wood pulp in Germany. Wood pulp is the professional baker's choice: highly absorbent, it draws moisture from the surface of the dough during the final proof to create a drier outer skin that scores cleanly and develops a crispier crust in the oven.

Our bannetons are available in round and oval shapes across a range of dough weights from 500g to 1kg. Matching linen liners and cleaning brushes are stocked separately.

Alongside the bannetons, this collection includes baking tins, bench scrapers, and other accessories for sourdough bread baking.

Orders placed before 3:00pm Monday to Friday are dispatched the same working day from our Leeds warehouse.
