Collection: Weck

Authentic WECK glass preserving jars — made in Germany since the early 1900s. No plastic, no disposable parts. UK stock, same-day dispatch.

WECK has been making glass preserving jars in Germany since the early 1900s, and the design has barely changed, because it doesn't need to. Each jar uses a three-part seal: a glass lid, a natural rubber ring, and two stainless steel clips. No metal lids to rust, no disposable parts, no plastic. When the seal is intact, the rubber tab points downward. When it points up, the vacuum is gone.

EcoBaker stocks a wide range of WECK jars in a variety of shapes and sizes — from small tulip jars perfect for jams and chutneys to larger mould jars ideal for fermenting, storing dry goods, or keeping a sourdough starter. The wide-mouth opening makes filling and cleaning straightforward.

Replacement rubber rings and clips are stocked separately, so your jars last indefinitely.

Orders placed before 3:00pm Monday to Friday are dispatched the same working day from our Leeds warehouse.
